Mass
40 g

The EOS Orbit 1U Solar Panel generates power on two space-grade triple-junction GaInP2/GaAs/Ge cells at 30 percent efficiency, with 32 percent cells available on request. Integrated bypass and blocking diodes protect the string.

The panel carries temperature and sun sensors for attitude determination, and optional IMU and magnetorquer integration turns the panel into an attitude sensing and actuation surface. Variants mount on ±X/Y or ±Z faces of a 1U structure.

  • 2x triple-junction GaInP2/GaAs/Ge cells, 30% efficiency (32% on request)
  • Integrated temperature and sun sensors
  • Internal bypass and blocking diodes
  • Series or parallel panel connectivity
  • XY and Z face mounting variants
  • Optional IMU for ADCS, magnetorquer, RBF pin, custom cutouts
