EOS Orbit and NT sign MOU to develop NGSO satellite capability

EOS Orbit and NT Satellite Solutions signed a memorandum of understanding covering NGSO technology development, service integration, workforce development, and commercial application.

EOS Orbit and NT Satellite Solutions signed a memorandum of understanding on January 20, 2026. The collaboration covers four operational areas.

First, NGSO technology development and application. The work adapts satellite communications to Thailand’s operating conditions: tropical climate, infrastructure constraints, and remote operating areas. The scope covers communications, internet access, and sector-specific applications for government, enterprise, and hard-to-reach areas.

Second, product and service integration. The collaboration creates satellite services that can reach customers through NT’s distribution network. A structural issue in this industry is that satellite operators have space segment capability but limited ground distribution, while telecom operators have distribution but not satellite capability. Combining infrastructure from both sides changes what can be delivered.

Third, workforce capability development. The collaboration includes training Thai engineers and operators in satellite operations, ground segment integration, and NGSO constellation management.

Fourth, business development and commercial application. The collaboration creates a route for Thai organizations to access satellite services designed for local operating conditions.

EOS Orbit brings self-designed satellite systems, ground segment integration, and NGSO mission operations experience. The Nonthaburi ground station is operational. NT brings telecom backbone capability, institutional customer relationships, and a national network.

This collaboration lets both sides operate across a wider mission set. The work is infrastructure that makes national space capability practical.
